![]() When it works, it works very well, and there are various opportunities to tweak the results, such as altering the opacity and brightness of the effect or using the Refine Edge feature if the effect is not as precise as you’d like. This guided edit - step-by-step instructions that walk you through the effect - offers several levels from removing haze to completely replacing the sky, but it’s not the magic bullet that’s guaranteed to salvage every single dull landscape shot. This great feature is buried under the Enhance > Adjust Facial Features menu. Because these are modest adjustments and not wholesale compositional changes, the edits tend to look natural. The new Face Tilt feature lets you coordinate portraits so people are more or less facing each other or the same way, while the Adjust Facial features command gives you additional options to adjust the angle of the eyes and other facial features. Many group or couples photos are marred by people facing or looking in different directions. Either way, note that it does not back up your photos or videos.Īfter you’ve used this useful, menu-driven feature once, it’s amazing to discover how many duo or group portraits benefit from this seemingly tiny tweak. This operation requires no user input and offers no interface changes, though there is an alert notifying you that this feature is available, giving you the choice to enable or skip it. With this update, Adobe can now automatically back up your catalog structure, curated albums, keyword tags, people, places, and events. It acts as a clearinghouse for all assets, letting you perform a number of search, share, classification, and compositional operations between the two programs. Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021: New featuresĪdobe Elements Organizer is a separate helper app that ships with both the photo and video editors or with the bundle. For Windows, you’ll need Windows 10 (version 1903 or later). On the Mac, you’ll need MacOS 10.14 through 10.15 or MacOS 11. Then right-click on the name and choose Disable from the pop-up menu. All you need to do is go into the Task Manager, select the Start-up tab, and find the Elements Auto Creations 2021 entry. However, what appears to have happened in your case is that you have booted up your computer and Windows 10 has inadvertently started up the Elements Auto Creations 2021 application. If you have turned off all the options in Edit > Preferences > Media-Analysis, then of course the Auto Creations shouldn't be running at all: Some of the work that the Auto Creations feature needs to perform can be very processor-intensive, and that it is why Adobe have deliberately built in this priority "fail-safe" to prevent it having an impact on a user's day-to-day tasks. The Auto Creations feature is deliberately engineered to work in the background and only to take priority when your computer is in an idle state, hence why it is busy working away when you are not using the computer. I'd love to keep using it, but I refuse to deal with this issue. I've never had this trouble with Elements with all the previous versions I've owned. If I don't have a working solution to this issue within 7 days, I will uninstall Elements 21 and never use another Elements product again. You need to make Auto Creations an optional install for those of us who just want to use Elements. There is no reason this should be happening if I don't have it selected. I have turned off the "media creation" feature in the organizer. This has been happening for over 2 hours this morning already. This is unacceptable to me, and I need a solution ASAP.or I will uninstall and never use another Adobe Photoshop product again. My laptop fans keep cycling on and off while I'm not using it, with the Auto Creations being right at the top of my Task Manager as a huge resource hog. I haven't used Elements in over a month, yet this started today. I've not had a problem until booting my laptop this morning, and now Elements Auto Creations 2021 is at the top of my Task Manager and using over 15-25% of my CPU resources. I just want to use Elements, and only Elements. I've turned off the Auto Creations feature. I installed Photoshop Elements 21 a few months back.
